Senior Capstone — The CoCo Bar VT

Automated laser engraving for 50 coconuts

I worked with a team of 3 other engineering students to design an automated laser engraving system for The CoCo Bar VT. Coconuts vary significantly in size, shape, and weight — the system handles this through a rail-and-trapdoor magazine, IR beam-break sensors, and a linear actuator that lifts each coconut into the laser's focal range. A scissor-lift magazine replenishes the rail automatically.
