I'm a mechanical engineer based in Vermont. I just graduated from UVM with coursework spanning simulation to electromechanical design. I use this site to keep track of some of my engineering and personal projects. There's a form at the bottom of the page to contact me with any questions or comments.

What I work on.

Embedded Systems & Electronics

Microcontroller programming, sensor integration, and circuit-level work. Most of my builds involve some combination of code and hardware, and that's usually where the interesting problems show up.

Mechanical Design & CAD

Mechanism and assembly design with manufacturability in mind. Toleranced drawings, DFM, and GD&T. Works best when the design accounts for how it'll actually be built.

Simulation & Analysis

Structural and fluid analysis, FEA for stress and modal work, CFD for flow fields. I usually run hand calculations alongside the model to sanity-check it.

Fabrication & Prototyping

Taking designs from CAD to physical parts. CNC, laser cutting, and electronics assembly depending on what the project needs.

Epoxy river desks, end-grain cutting boards, CNC-cut signs. Started as a hobby and got progressively more involved with tooling and technique.

About

I’m a mechanical engineer based in Vermont, and I graduated from UVM in May 2026. Most of my coursework focused on numerical methods, simulation, and hands-on electromechanical system design.

Outside of engineering I build things: epoxy river desks, end-grain cutting boards, CNC signs, and the occasional electronics project. I also competed in powerlifting for a few years and still hold records in one weight class across New England. I don’t compete anymore, but I still train. Honestly, it’s not that different from engineering: write a program, run it, adjust based on what actually happens.
